Some “upd” FLAC rips come from a 2012/2013 repressing where the dynamic range was slightly improved over the loud first pressing. Measurements on the Dynamic Range Database (DRDB) show the “upd” version’s DR score increased from 4 to 6 – still loud, but with less clipping.

The original Nothing But The Beat was a single CD plus a second disc of instrumentals and remixes. But the edition, released shortly after, expanded the concept into a true double-album experience.

On September 7, 2012, Guetta re-released the album as "Nothing But the Beat 2.0". This was marketed as a "发烧升级盘" (audiophile upgrade disc). It included six brand new, previously unreleased tracks. The lead single was the Sia collaboration "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)," and other new additions included "Play Hard" (feat. Ne-Yo & Akon) and "Wild One Two".

As a lossless FLAC release, the 2CD set offers high-fidelity audio compared to standard MP3 versions: Approximately 30 songs across both discs. Label: Released via Virgin, EMI, and Parlophone.

The first disc reads like a compilation of the greatest pop hits of the 2010s. In full FLAC quality, the massive dynamic range of the vocals mixed with Guetta's aggressive side-chained compression provides an incredible sonic landscape. Nothing But the Beat Ultimate - Album by David Guetta
