Servers using "Engine Mode 2" anti-cheat will replace all hidden underground ores with stone blocks in the data package sent to your browser. The real diamonds only turn into diamond blocks the exact moment air touches them (i.e., when you mine the block adjacent to them). Consequently, your X-ray pack will only show a solid wall of stone, rendering the hack useless.
